Our Story

Building financially savvy young people since 2018

Where It All Began

It started with a conversation at a dinner party in 2017. A group of parents discovered they shared the same frustration: their children had no idea how money actually worked. Schools taught algebra but not budgeting. History but not how compound interest shapes futures.

One parent was a former investment banker who had left the City to pursue teaching. Another was an educational psychologist who specialised in adolescent learning. The third ran a successful small business and remembered her own financial stumbles in her twenties.

Within six months, they had designed a pilot programme. Twelve children attended the first workshop in a community centre in Islington. The feedback was remarkable. Parents reported conversations about money happening at home for the first time. Children started asking questions about prices, savings, even pensions.

Growing With Purpose

Word spread quickly among London parents. By 2020, we had waiting lists and requests from schools wanting in-house workshops. The pandemic forced us to adapt, moving sessions online and discovering that virtual learning could work brilliantly for teenagers especially.

Today we operate across multiple London locations, partner with dozens of schools, and have taught over two thousand young people. Our core mission remains unchanged: every child deserves to understand money before they have to earn it.

"Financial education shouldn't be a privilege. Every young person, regardless of their family's wealth, deserves to understand how money works."

— Founding principle, 2018

Our Teaching Philosophy

Children don't learn financial skills from lectures. They learn by doing, by making safe mistakes, by seeing concepts in action. Our workshops are interactive, engaging, and designed around how young minds actually work.

We avoid jargon. We use real examples from their lives. We let them practice with play money before real consequences kick in. Most importantly, we make it fun. Nobody ever learned well when they were bored.

What We're Not

We're not financial advisers. We don't sell products. We don't push any particular investment approach or encourage risk-taking. Our goal is literacy, not speculation. We want young people to understand their options, not to follow any single path.
